My Story

In the summer of 2009, after a long run of the corporate life, I needed to do something different. I wanted an opportunity to work for myself and be the one benefitting from my hard work. As I have always had a love for animals and baking, I focused on what path I could follow centering around them. I started with making all natural dog treats and selling at small neighborhood fairs branding myself as Wagga Tail Treats.   Upon seeing the positive response to my products, I decided to take it a step further and place my treats in area stores.  After a years time, I was in 20 stores in 3 states.  Unfortunately as my children were getting bigger and their naps dwindled (which is when I did most of my baking), Wagga Tail Treats had to be put on hold.

In 2017, my crafty self couldn't sit still anymore.  I started making handmade dog collars and leashes and opened an Etsy shop calling it Wagga Tail Boutique. My items took off online so I decided to start entering into bigger craft fairs in Western Mass, Connecticut and on Cape Cod.  People LOVE their animals!  Things took off and I started making more products for dogs (and cats too) whether it be dog collar flowers, dog collar bow ties, over the collar bandanas, dog coats...gosh the list goes on.  I had found my true passion - using my gift of being creative.  With 10,000+ sales later and with the addition of many more types of items for people, as well as their pets, I found my dream.

Wagga Tail Boutique strives to make items that you will treasure for a lifetime. Whether it be the tag that helps your lost furbaby get back to you, the keychain that your child presents to his dad on Father’s Day or a momento of a special time in your life, know that care and love went into the making of that item. I strive to make the perfect, personalized keepsake for you to proudly gift, or keep!

I love what I do, and hope that you do too!
